You can send your images through the mail or via email. Etched items do not require photos. Emailing your image is the preferred method. As always, make sure you are the owner of the image or have copyright permission to use the image. We are not responsible for misuse of copyrighted material.

Email: When sending images through the email, there are a few specifications that ensure your project will look its best. Remember, we will do our best, but we can only work with what you send us.
- Digital cameras shoot photos at 72 dpi. It is important that you set your camera to the largest setting possible so that we have enough resolution to work with when we put your photo on our products. We can work with most image types, including JPEG, BMP, GIF, TIFF, EPS and PNG. Contact us if you have questions about another format.
- Photos that are appropriately sized for emailing and online display (roughly 600×400) will not print well. They will be unclear and pixilated.
- Ideally, images should be at 300 dpi at the size the output will be. This is the optimum printing resolution. However, we can easily work with images down to 200 dpi. Anything less than that will be difficult to achieve a crisp result.
- If you are scanning a photo, set your dpi at the 200-300 mark if your intention is to use your photo at its current size or smaller. If you want us to enlarge your image on a product, scan at no less than 300 — higher, if possible.
- Please do not use scans of non-photographic sources. Scans of magazines, color copies and color ink-jet prints contain moire patterns and other elements that degrade the final result.
- Attach your image to an email and send it to our professional artist. Include information on the project, contact information, and any other details or instructions you think necessary.

Mail: When sending images through the mail, please send a high-quality copy of the original if at all possible, preferably not a low-quality color ink-jet print on regular paper. We cannot be held responsible for images that are lost in the process if you choose to send originals.
- Please package your image appropriately, using cardboard inserts to protect while traveling through the mail.
- Include contact information so we may get in touch with you if we have questions.
- Please indicate if you would like your image returned and include a return address if this is the case.
- Indicate the specifications for your project, noting which image should be used on which project.
- Let us know of any special requests such as photo cropping, color correction, or photo retouching that you would like done. We’ll do our best.
- Add any other information you think necessary to complete the project.
- Send your image to the address to the address on our contact page.
